Our Founder and Master Roller
Wrapture Cigars was founded by Melissa Hazelton. The first time she saw cigars being hand rolled, she developed a new appreciation for the artistry and tradition of cigar making.
Melissa started Wrapture Cigars when she was discussing her fondness for cigars and the recognition that it was very difficult to source domestic and English-speaking cigar rollers. She has significant experience in event marketing, planning and consumer promotion activities and holds the distinction of being the only American female master cigar roller.
She believes that enjoying a good cigar is not just about the cigar, but also about the atmosphere, the surroundings and the complementary elements. She knew that there had to be a way to combine the premium quality of hand rolled cigars with the excitement and intrigue of the hand rolling process….the result was Wrapture Cigars.
